OBDLink v2.1.0 firmware update is available

You can download a free v2.1.0 firmware update from this page:

    http://www.scantool.net/downloads/updates/obdlink/

The default baud rate had been increased to 115200 kbps to increase throughput when communicating through wireless communication channels.

Be sure to read the warnings before installing the update.

Short of writing your own updater app, you can't. You can, however, use any Windows computer with .NET to update the firmware (unless your religion forbids it).

Has anyone tested the .net app with mono on Linux? I wish I would have thought of this before I formatted windows 7 away on my new laptop :P.

Is the source to the updater available? It looks like a simple tweak to get it to just work on linux. It errored out because my "com port" didn't start with "COM".

The updater app is not open source.. let me talk to the developer, maybe he can make a quick fix.
