i just got my hands on a simple ODB2 to USB (virtual Com-Port) Cable and want to use it with centrafuse. Unfortunately, Centrafuse can only communicate with ELM-equiped Interfaces. So i was wondering, if there is a tool out there, which can communicate through my ODB2 cable directly with the ECU an emulate an additional COM-Port with acts as a ELM-Interface so that Centrafuse can work with this one.
Should also be far more conviniant than having to buy a rather expensive ELM-Chip with inbuild logics.
Perhaps i missed something, but i dont understand, why you need a ELM-Chip in the first place other than for standalone devices. All PC based diagnostics should not need such an interpreter-chip because they can do it by themselves... or not?
