I want to get the "fuel remaining" from the OBD device, but I 'm not sure which one is correct.
Someone says that PID "012F - Fuel Level Input" means the "fuel remaining".
Someone says that the new PID, "015E", from SAE 2007, means the "fuel remaining".
If yes, someone can give me the detailed information?
Someone says that OBD2 doesn't support this information.
Anyone can answer the question?

is where I have been getting my codes from, as far as I know those are the standard ones.
Don't forget that's only a level input, fuel tanks are rarely square so its not a direct indication of actual litres remaining.
At some point I intend to get my tank low (as I would wish it to be), take a reading and then fill up and take another reading.
Using that I can approximate a linear scale.
Pid 2F is remaining fuel in the tank as a percentage.
Pid 5E is fuel usage in liters per hour.
Pids 4F thru 85 have been defined in 2007, so vehicle must be relatively new to expect those.
Be weary of 0x2F. I have found 2 vehicles so far that go from 0-100 decimal with no scaling instead of 0-255/255 as is defined in the spec.
