Which exactly measurment you mean? The display I used is CarTFT СTF-700H, the screen is 154*93mm (visible area), you may find pretty much any other detail on this screen on the CarTFT website http://www.cartft.com/catalog/displa...l?ls=7&ls1=7.9

As you may note from the pics of my screen we had to cut out the lower part of the case back so that it fits between the screws keeping the screen bezel in place. The screen case itself is glued to the bezel.

Obviously, the exact dimensions of the screen would vary a bit depending on the screen model but I guess most 7' widescreen LCDs would eventually fit. From what I heard however some lilliputs' tft matrix is a couple of millimeters wider than CarTFT screen matrix so you have to cut the inner parts of brackets in the front panel (the ones keeping screen bezel) to make the screen fit in between.

Unfortunately I believe there no way around some fabrication to have a really OEM-looking 7'screen bezel. What actually helps is that screen bezel may be ordered from an opel / vx / holden dealer and is relatively cheap. So if you screw one its no big deal.

sorry i should of been clearer. the measurement you cut back from the lower section would be great.
is that the only part you had to cut back? does that mean the screen sits on a slight angle? sorry for all the questions but i've been wracking my brains trying to figure out how to fit it.

quick update on the car itself:
i eventually got the car back yesterday and put in the new/used cd30 mp3 radio. the radio and the screen were from the same car so it was perfect and everything went fine till i went out to it this morning and discovered the car wont start, same as the last time a completely flat battery. i got a printed report from the garage on it ,it says they detected low voltage. charged the battery and started the car. i paid €100 euro for re-programming the ecu. he told me it cost 160 and wasnt charging me for checking the battery.

i'm at my wits end at this stage. i'm gonna bring it to a local tire and battery garage who i know to check the battery for me. all i can think of is that its the altimeter or battery. i drove it around twice last night and had no problems it was left there overnight for about 10 hours.

i feel totally ripped off. i've reported the garage to opel ireland about a month ago and havent heard from them since. gonna give them a ring now and update my case.

so after contacting opel ireland the only thing i can do is bring the car back to the original garage that i have been dealing with. i asked if i went to another opel dealership could they sort ot out without it costing me further but i can but it would cost me. i'm gonna have to bring it to my own trusted mechanic and foot the bill. balls

    Final update:

i took the car to a battery and tire place (Victory Tires) thats run by my neighbours uncle. i told him the story and we swapped out the battery for a 2nd hand one as a test for the weekend to see if it was the battery, altinator or a short some where else. the car ran perfect all weekend so it ended being the battery itself paid for a new battery and hopefully everythings fine and i can get back to planning my install.

    much love to every one!

    update 4,code name f*** sake

so i'm back to the whole completely flat battery again. since i'm able start if after a tow and its a new battery i reckon theres a drain some where. i'd nearly bet my right nut its somewhere near the abs the dealership garage went messing with.

gonna bring it to a car electrician in the morning and if it does turn out to be around the abs, you bet your sweet as i'm gonna sue the dealership for compensation/damages

i'm getting really sick of this car now at the mo and its not like i have the money spare
