The EOBD standard requires EOBD diagnostics to be on Can. The manufacturer protocol does not have to be on Can - no rules there.
Pins 3, 8 and 12 are used for other systems like airbag, abs, etc. I think pin 1 is a switched 12 volt feed.
Seems they have made the same mistake as 10 years ago. No data - although it is required by the EOBD rules.
I think there will be an update for the software - at least in Germany. You need more data to pass the AU-tests (exhaust gas test - like MOT).
