DTC COdes Definiton
I am just the begineer in Diagonostic .
I am looking for DTC code definition for emission and non-emission related DTC's. What are all other standards available for defining DTC codes?
EX : Pxxxx , Bxxxx , Cxxxx and Uxxxx - this i am little bit aware of .Is there any other way to define DTC code?
Sure, buy SAE j2012 and you get the defined P- and U-codes. See: http://standards.sae.org/j2012_200712/
As an alternative you can checkout this website: http://www.dtcsearch.com/
It will take some time, but a lot of codes (including manufacturer specific) can be found there. Just click on P0 to start with.
P0-codes: 2897, P2-codes: 1182, U0-codes: 534. Grand total more than 4600 codes. And that are just the defined ones.

Or any other way is also DTC codes can be define.
Hope you understood my query.
If you mean codes from the pre-obd2 era, then one way is to search the internet (but the info is very limited).
The only sure way is to buy a factory tester, let's say Tech-1 from Opel (if that is still available) and reverse engineer everything.
The same applies to codes from other systems than the power-train (Abs, Airbag, Airco, etc.) for newer cars. Buy the tester and reverse engineer.
Maybe if you join the Society of Engineers in the USA you can get some codes. But that's a hefty fee each year.
Now as to "worldwide", there's a nice goal. Do you want to make this your life-time occupation?
And would this include the VW Gol (No, I didn't forget the F) from Brazil with a Ford engine that runs on ethanol?
And would this also include the Opel Astra from India that uses a (locally made) Defita engine system, which is only used in India?
I think you may have to limit yourself to a specific area, and not all makes.
