Ford PID 0x22 Fuel Rail Pressure - ELM327/Hyperterminal

I have a USB ELM327 (V1.5). I am trying to get the fuel rail pressure from the truck which is listed as 0x22. I would happily use software but I either cant get it to display the data in real time (scantool.net) or the software wants me to upgrade (pay money) to display the live data. So I am using hyperterminal. A couple of questions:

(1) How do a convert the FRP PID 0x22 hex data to a readable number in kPa or PSI?
(2) When I enter 0122 to get the value, the value varies up and down quite a bit - is this to be expected?
