I have a remote start unit called a dball. It is attached behind the ignition switch. It only uses the CANBUS to communicate with the truck. I found out that grounding a wire on the dball will lock and unlock the doors. It has to send a canbus code to make the locks work. I bought a usb elm327 and attached the can wires at this location to it. The 500k can seems dead with the ignition switch off, but I found life on the 125k can. So I set the elm327 for 125k 11bit. I issue the atma command. As soon as I ground the wire to lock the door, it gives me the readout below and buffer full. I have COMM port 4 set to 115200 and the elm327 set to 115200. I am looking for the door lock and unlock codes that I can send from the elm327 to the canbus. Can anyone help me solve the buffer full problem and help me figure out the code to send from elm327 usb scantool to canbus? I have searched for days and can't find any info out there that helps.

Thanks,
Wayne
