I have a desire to do a power train swap of a Fusion 2.5l M6 into my Ford Fiesta SES 1.6 M5. Adding a gear and 45% more power would make it a blast to drive I'm comfortable with all of the fitting, rewiring, etc. What I don't know is how to get the Fusion CAN BUS to talk to the Fiesta. Just not in my territory. Do you think it would just plug in and talk? Is the Ford programming universal enough to that? If I paid someone to do the work, would it be so rediculous that I would say "screw it"? The model year would be very close and the same family of engine (duratec). The idea would be to buy a wrecked Fusion so everything is there. The main comm is from the PCM to the guage cluster. thanks in advance
