It's very difficult unless you have the reader from mazda. I can ask a mate of mine about it, he works in a mazda dealership. I don't think I will be able to find out much tho.

i know what obd-ii is right, and i know that i sure as hell don't have it, i have a 89 gt mazda mx6, just wondering is there anyway i can extract infomation from my ecu at all ???

could you find out from you mate at mazda the workshop manual wiring supplement for the 89 gd mx6,
also the costs of a mx5 momo steering wheel... cheers :-)

I spoke to my mate, He said you should be able to get the wiring supplement from www.motorbooks.com.au You can't actually get them from Mazda. He said they are made under contract by someone else. Have you got one of the Haynes manuals? They are reasonably good for the diagrams.Originally Posted by Mr Mx6
As for the steering wheel, he said they are expensive. Couldn't give me an exact price, but he said at least $500. About double what you would pay for one from an aftermarket store.
