1993 Toyota Land Cruiser

Anyone know if this car has some sort of car diagnostics I can tap into, and if so what? It's a 1993 Toyota Land Cruiser. It has a check engine light & a check oil light, never had 'codes' read on it or anything, though, so I'm not sure. I know most cars didn't have anything standard until 1995, but this has the check engine type lights, and is somewhat of a luxury SUV, just wondering if they pre-fitted it. If anyone has any insight it'd be appreciated!

It probably has OBD1. Look under the hood for a DIAGNOSTIC block. Probably on the left side of the driver (or right if you look at the engine). GRAY in color.
To check for error code, short TE1 and E1 terminal, turn the key to ON and check for the flash sequence of the CHECK ENGINE light. Blink .. Blink ... Blink .. pause .. Blink mean code 31.
To hook up to a PC and check for error code like OBD2, I don't think you can do it yet and probably won't.
The 87-88 Supra and Cressida are the only Toyota Cars (I know of pre ODB2) that come with a "Super Computer" which can read error code in numerical value instead of blinking check engine light.
