its vehicle specific I dont think its part of the obd2 spec (could be wrong there i havent checked), but you could talk to the dealer--I've heard of it being done for about 50$
Otherwise you have the hypertech for 360$ OR LS1 edit (depending on your engine) for less than 500$
LS1 edit will give you a lot of control over your ecu--i would suggest checking it out.

Yeah- It's an LS1. But I like the Diablo Sport if I'm gonna spend that much money.

Speedo changes are done with what's called the pinion factor and it is proprietary to each OEM and not covered under OBDII regulation. So your gonna need access to a good scan tool like www.obd2.com

I have work on mitsubishi /chysler and on certin cars pinon factor can be set with the DRB3 , but only to the tire sizes set at the time of manufacture.
i do not know about other car lines as they may have something the same.
but i dont think that any scaner will do this, as the name implies they scan but do not reflash. to reflash a engine control unit needs a programer. programers are done by the manufacter , and to reflash without epa approval is a emmision violation. no maker of a "scaner" want that kind of heat from the epa, without a "off road use only" waiver.

There are some piggyback controllers for doing speedo calibration.

My Hypertech and quite a few others can. Look on the net and theres umpteen "power" programmers out there that tell your fuel injectors to basically go wide open every time you hit the gas that the EPA hasnt stomped on. Changing tire size is not at OBD2 emissions issue

Yeah, I know about all the programmers but I want to see if I can cheap out and do it on my pc. But I guess Im gonna have to break down and buy the Diablo Sport Predator Programmer. Oh well, $400 for an extra 40 hp isnt bad.

Thanks, thats cool. But I need more than 28%. I had 30" tires. Now I have 40" tires. But I guess after I gear it, then it would work. But I'm not sure if I wanna spend $1000 to gear the rear end at this point.
