OBD2 interface based on Max232/Max233??

Does anyone know of a circuit based on a max232 or max233 chip to interface with OBD2, i see enough circuits based on opto isolators but i cant seem to get them to work

I'll leave it there for two days.
It's a working (use it myself) straight interface = what goes in comes out.
It's connected to K and L line. Don't forget that your software needs to do the initialization etc... I'm currently working on the code for my PIC controlled interface which will do the initialization for you and the anoying baud rates (5baud and 10400baud)
