    What should I use

    I have a 02 Ford Explorer XLT that I am instaling a self made car computer in (mini itx), just waiting for digitalww.com to get the motorized in dash vga screens in and I want to use a obd software and connect it to the car and computer. Im a newbie at this subject so what is everyone useg and where can i buy the cable(s) to connect all this together? Suggestions please!

    Ive been looking at the link above and I just confused myself I believe...can anyone be a bit more detailed about what obd software to use? I'm lost!!!!

    You asked for cables. That link had a lot of references to good OBDII hardware.

    what is a good setup (cables and software) for my 02 Ford Explorer, anyone else with a good setup??

    This is a real time obd II monitor, pretty small and reads up to 3 stats in real time, as well as trip log stats.
