    OBD-II for a 2002 toyota prado (90 series landcruiser)

    hi gys is there a interface to allow me to extract engine info off a 2002 Prado? although i am probably gonna get flamed and told to use the friggin !!! believe me i have searched... yet to no avail, beying a noob @ obd2 info extraction i probably am searching for the wrong stuff... or mabey there just isnt one ot there


    anyway is is not going to be a carputer, but just a laptop ghettoed onto the dash for an electronic dash, as well as some more detailed info then the "check engine" light.... thanks guys ill contine googleing too, but yeah, any help is apriciated

    wow, never heard of a prado, is that the same thing as a highlander?

    well it looks just like the Lexus GX 470, i'd look up info on pulling ODB II stats on that, since its ODB II, i'd think all the scantools would be able to interface with it

    ok, so i wouldnt have any trouble finding a obd-2/serial plug then? coz my googleing wielded nothing for a 2002 prado :S


    is there any information on the 4x4 itself that would help me?
