Can this circuit be used with microcontroller???
i mean after MAX232, can i interface it (DB9) with my microcontroller??
will it work for me? or its just for VAG-COM type scanners or testers???
I've tried with several VW and SEAT, it works perfectlly, it's really fast but I can't find a Renault soft....:S:S:S

You don't need to use MAX232 if you are interfacing the MC33290 with a microcontroller. You just connect it directly to your micro's pins.
Keep in mind that the MC33290 is a "dumb" level shifter, it simply converts your TTL to ISO 9141 levels and provides some protection.
