Well, the OBDII software here doens't write anything.
i'm sorry if someone as already ask this question...
i know something about the car chip tuning and i know that if something happens while you are writing the code on the chip, somatimes you have to change it. so i'm asking if is it dangerous to keep connected the pc to the OBD port (and so to the chip) while the car is moving... ??? can if have problems?
well, i know that it doesn't write anything, but if i send a wrong OBD message request is not a problem? and if the pc switches off during the connection is it dangerous?
it depends from the chip model... the olders were Read Only, but the last are EPROM (Erasable Programmable ROM) or Flash ROMS...
