OBD-II on palm

hey everyone, i bought a obd-II scan tool awhile ago and it came with sofware to hook it up to my plam. The thing is that it never worked. It said it couldnt find the car (Ford F350). Now that iv found this site maby i could get it to work. Do you know of any sofware that works well on Palms??

The device requires a F-F 9-pin serial cable.... I haven't seen a Palm yet that includes a serial port.

i have an adapter cable, its just the software that im kinda stuck on. I have a laptop here and im gunna go test to see if its the unit thats not working.
