    2005 Volvo S40

    Is this the ODB-II connector? The picture right below the steering wheel on the left.



    If so, anyone know what protocal it uses? I read about checking the pins but Im not sure which pin is #1,#2 etc.

    It's same with eu ford models... u may use that convertor kit. I already use it..

    The communication protocol is
    ISO 15765-4 29 bit adressing for CAN.
    You may need a CAN bus adapter depending on the hardware you use.
