Hi guys
I really like the idea of attaching my car to the computer, The only problem is that i don't know what to use.
The plug on my car is only a 2 pin plug so i am unsure what conectors are needed i spoke to peugeot and they assured me that they connect via this plug and use a diag 2000 to read the ecu.
If anyone has any info on how i can connect this to my computer it'd be great.

That's a list of cars that are OBD-II and compatible with the ELMscan interface. (and for that matter, probably any other of the OBDII interfaces)
that site lists the peugot 106, 206, and 406 as being ISO format, so presumably the 306 is also. You can find lots of different OBDII interfaces that work with ISO format.
