TekMate is the ELM version of software created by AutoEnginuity. The TekMate software will be limited in speed, similar to Digimoto Lite and Digimoto 4.0 because it uses the ELM chip (unless you use their in house designed CAN interface).

I is that a bad thing? I found one for $89 is it worth it or ....

There software seems to show more then just rpm. It looks like it has just as much as the autoenginuity one.

i like it...its abit slow, but the new version 2.5 is sooooo much better than the version i bought it with. It is what it is though. its a $100 dollar diagnostics tool. its better than a hand held, especially if you have a carputer! the novelty of having digital readouts on your screen is worth it! to me, even with its drawbacks, its a must have!

and the dyno accually works quite well....

Is it better or worse than the digimoto? Seem like the digit moto softrware is better.

    What do you think?

from my understanding, most all of the diagnostic tools in this price range use the exact same chip to interface with the OBDII. this means they also use the same bandwith as well. i think what you could base your opinion on would be the interface itself. you can download the software from Tekmatetools.com to get a feel of thier product. unfortunately, Digimoto requires a license key?!?
ive never used Digimoto, but the screen shots look really nice.

one thing that bugs me about both tools, is that niether one offers an oil pressure sensor. i dont know why.

I don't believe oil pressure is an OBDII legislated requirement.
Which means you will have to find a scan tool that supports beyond OBDII ie: vehicle specific data and that your vehicle tracks the oil pressure via the ECU.
