    mOByDick + Digimoto?

So has anyone used this mobydick interface that digimoto sells?

What is the scoop? can you get more than one updated/second? (I understand this is an ELM limitation, not a protocol thing)...

Also, how does one get the 10% off from digimoto?

I'm looking for something in the sub-200 range... is this the best thing?

I've received the digimoto triple combo which has the 3 pack of elmscan interfaces (no CAN support) and like it but should have waited a couple more weeks and got the mobydic interface.

    why?
    1) supports all 3 interfaces elmscan supports but in a single package
    2) also supports CAN which elmscan doesn't
    3) smaller unit is easier to tuck somewhere under the dash
    4) might be a little cheaper, check Joe's/digimoto's site, he has the best deals and is good to deal with

I don't know the answer to your question but I know Digimoto browses the forums every once in awhile. You could try PMing him.

No ~ not at all. In fact I seen your message, but purposely did not respond. I hate to pitch for my own product ~ however the mOByDic interface is pretty new so there are probably not that many users out there in circulation yet (using Digimoto with it anyway). The ELM hardware will get you roughly around 200 queries a minute and the mOByDic will get you around 400 ~ the mOByDic on CAN gets you around 800. In my personal opinion (all prejudice aside) ~ I do believe we offer the best product at the best price and I do challenge you to research what is out there in detail before making a decision. Both the ELM and the mOByDic interfaces are supported outside of the Digimoto product line (we are software developers) ~ there are other software applications that work with this hardware as well. We are one of the two US distributors for the ElmScan interface and Digimoto is the only US distributor for the mOByDic hardware. The Discount for the mp3car members is mp3car10 ~ if you have any other questions just post. I try to check the forums as often as I can.
