Thread: Digimoto 15% off discount code

Assuming for a moment I purchased the digimoto for my Dodge (actually made by daimler so it's really a benz) Sprinter, I am unable to find any information anywhere that tells me whether this vehicle is obdII. The dealer swears up & down that you have to buy a $$$$$$ code scanner to even clear a check engine light. They say something about obdIII?

I guess my real question is, if I buy this for use in my vehicle and it isn't compatible, is there any refund policy? I notice that is not addressed in your FAQ on digimoto.com

Just because it was once Daimler Benz and now it's Daimler Chrysler, doesn't make a Dodge a Benz

No such thing as OBD-III, at least that I know of, that is implemented in current vehicles. There are different standards which utilize your OBD-II port though. The techs probably either didn't understand that or thought you wouldn't. The mobydic by them I believe handles all of the standards, so you should be safe with that.

Actually...you're probably right in most cases...in this case, it does...the tranny & motor & all the parts I can get an eyeball on except the hood ornament & plastics have benz logos on em. Add this to the fact that the passenger version of this vehicle is manufactured at Daimler's german plant in Dusseldorf...and it all spells benz. This exact model is sold in Europe under the Benz logo with the sole exception that the steering is switched to the right.

Thanks for the clarification on OBDII/OBDIII. On the very small possibility however that this doesn't work on my vehicle...return policy?

Thanx. I will know within 2 or 3 days of receipt whether it will work with my vehicle (and I'll let you know so you can add my vehicle to that list of confirmed vehicles)...will be ordering as soon as I can get my hands on the extra cash, probably a couple of weeks.
