All cars after '96 are OBD compliant... so yes it should have a OBD port somewhere...

I dug around, didnt find anything, I was beggining to wonder if its behind a hide away panel ? like some Renaults ?
it also aint a thing of beauty under the dash thats for sure !!!
I found the Ecus and tried to trace backwards but no luck, do you think the connector is the same ?

i guess if you dont just see it.. it will be hidden away behind a panel.. contacting your local dealership and asking them might be the way to go...

and yes the OBD connector is a standard connector....

OBD is a U.S. standard. All U.S. cars have it, but if it's not a U.S. car or U.S. import, it may not have it.

If the car is in South Africa, and bought there, it may not have such a port.

What is the South African requirements as far as OBD-II compliance?

    hmmm OBD in South Africa

well we are still in the dark ages here

Leaded fuel was only withdrawn as of the first of January 2006
there is no emissions testing laws at all in South Africa

OBD ports are for some dealers and carpc users, the general populace has zero idea of there existence and yes the car is here, the local lambo dealers will only disclose its whereabouts for a fee....so I guess google is still my friend despite turning a blank up on this, found some germans that remap via the obd port but they dont say where the port is.....
