Heads up on Digimoto

Sorry to have to do this but I want to make sure people get a heads up on this. A lot of people have been having problems with Digimoto lately, myself included. We have ordered our items and have heard nothing back from "customer service". Repeated emails to "jessica" and joel have produced no results and anytime anyone tries to get in touch via the forums, the posts are deleted. Initially things were great with Digimoto and they definately had a fan base here on mp3car but any new customers should be warned.

Also I know this has been in other posts but this needs its own thread.

Reply with your own problems or success with this company, I know I'm not alone with this.

Thanks for the info man. I was seriously considering picking up one of their units. I know they were interested in creating a plug in for one of the frontends here - that had me really interested in their units.

I guess I'll look at some other options

To add to spankymcgee's comment i also having problems with my order from digimoto.

If you are interested for ODB hardware or software take a look on other companies because in digimoto you will have only their bill shipped to you.

I got the stuff delivered in less than a week internationally. The only problem, it didn't work. tried to contact them through email but never got a reply. That is bad customer service to me

AFAIK, digimoto is just a distributor for the elmscan products, so you could get them from scantool.net or one of their other distributors.

Obviously, it's not going to have the digimoto software though.

I believe there's a scam going on now with this company. I placed an order two weeks ago and nothing has happened. Several phone calls to the company "110 Enterprises, Inc." have gone unanswered. E-mails to various company e-mails have not been answered either. "Joel" responded to my post on mp3car.com that the company was "real"! however, He does not respond to the question "when can I expect to receive the product?" or "is there a tracking number" or "can you riemburse me?"

Anyone else with the same problems out there?

Did you try the numbers listed on whois for digimoto.com?

From my experience, the Digimoto software/mOByDic hardware doesn't work for me. I have a 2003 F-150 and it doesn't provide accurate data. When I say accurate data, the software shows that I'm going 200+ miles an hour while sitting in my driveway.

Quite a few people have complained over at forums.digimoto.com about the lack of service/communication/delivery/usefulness of their stuff.

I received my order in a fairly timely manner, though, so I can't complain about that.

From what I can tell, currently, the company must be having problems. So, unless I receive my order within the next few days, I have to report it to various authories for fraud and decpetive advertising and other problems. This kind of behavior from the owner (Joel) undermines the trust that people have in Internet commerce. Unfortunately, he tries to defend his company as he responds to these posts with useless information!

After over 3 weeks, we have not received the product from Digimoto (110 Enterprises, Inc.). As it turns out, there are several other complaints regarding Digimoto.com registered with the BBB. We filed a complaint with the IC3.com as well.
