    Lightbulb OK i fixed it!

The CarMM director mus be in c:\Program Files
The installer installed in c:\Program. As all the other programs are installed there.

So if you only see the shutdown button. Move the CarPC directory to C:\Program Files.

This ODB2 thing looks promising. Hope you will make a plugin for Centrafuse.

    What is:
    Cw?

Weight (i guess that is the weight of the car)
OBD Com port (the comport OBD2 is installed in)
    OBD Timeout?
    Packet Mode?
    Default PS?
    Torque?
    PC-latency?

    Cw?
    FrontArea?
    RollResist?
    AirDensity?
    Acceleration Power?
    Speed?
    Weight?

By the way you can create your own buttons ans grafics...

Send me the registration file and you can have it for free too.

This looks very nice, except most people here with 7 inch screen use a resolution of 800x600 or 800x480. You don't provide any way to run this full screen, so everything looks too small at 800x600. The OBD interface looks good too. Too bad it doesn't support the ISO protocol.

The music section worked fine and I was able to get it to launch iGuidance with no problems. I couldn't see a way to quit the program, other than the Shutdown button. And when I hit that, the program froze.

All things considered, a nice program. Good job. But until you support ISO, I won't be able to use it.

cw and stirn is German... Sorry i have study there. The english translation must be cd-value and frontal area... more information at http://www.absoluteastronomy.com/ref...ag_coefficient.

You have to put the default values for hp and torque of your car, so the program can adjust the gauges.
RollResist is presetted for standard tyres and asphalt.
AirDensity is presetted if you live in altidute <100 meter.
PC-Latency, Packet mode and OBD timeout are values that are depended from your obd adapter and car. You can improve the speed of the communication by setting the right parameters. I have normally a speed of 5 commands/sec.

    @wi77iam
My car and my obd adapter have iso protokoll. So what do you mean Carmm is not supporting iso? The way to talk to the interface (api) is the same for all obd adaptors.

For all my american friends i will try to give a version with imperial units.

How many of you do you have a 7' monitor with resolution more than 640*480.... I can't see nothing if i use higher reolution. Maybe i'm getting to old!

The FAQ on your website says "While there are three OBD-II electrical connection protocols, the command set is fixed according to the SAE J1979 standard." Perhaps I misunderstood, but it sounded like the program supported only SAE and not ISO. Thanks for the info. I will try again to connect.

so how about a stand alone plugin for road runner or media engine.

I would gladly pay for that software, but really don't want to fully switch front ends.

Awsome peice of software by the way
