alright... im running the latest version of os x and ive done everything you said in the instructions and i still cant get it to work. conSultan ask to select either "Bluetooth-modem" or "Bluetooth-pdasync" and thats it..
even tho this thread is dead i hope someone will hear my cry
i can't say that i know what the problem is... i would start by trying to identify why your only options in conSultan involve selecting a blue tooth device. you should be able to select any recognized serial-usb adapter or modem device.
i reinstalled it already and i still get the same thing. is there a cfg file i can look at?
Hope you see this post! I am in my car trying to get Consultan ready for an auto-cross event tomorrow. i just got a new mac book pro, and i hadn't yet tried consultan. unfortunately, get the same error as above:
system profiler shows this when cable is connected:
Host Controller Location: Built In USB
Host Controller Driver: AppleUSBUHCI
PCI Device ID: 0x27c9
PCI Revision ID: 0x0002
PCI Vendor ID: 0x8086
Bus Number: 0x3d
CP2102 USB to UART Bridge Controller:
Bus Power (mA): 500
Speed: Up to 12 Mb/sec
Manufacturer: Silicon Labs
Product ID: 0xea60

so it knows its there.
Any help Eric? :-) thanks.
