no, not possible.
Is it possible to use this cable (Jeff Noxon cable) with the OBD-Diag software?
What cable do you suggest for this application? Or what cable is the "best"? I plan on using it with VAG-COM and OBD-Diag tool or perhaps some kind of tool similar tool.
@tom_rosenback
the best (for the OBD-DIAG-software) is the OBD-DIAG4000 Interface or OBD-DIAG4500 hand-scannerWhat cable do you suggest for this application? Or what cable is the "best"? I plan on using it with VAG-COM and OBD-Diag tool or perhaps some kind of tool similar tool.
obd-diag Interface

I put this software in my lap top.
Now, how I can connet car with my lap top?
Thanks...
You need an interface such as this
www.obdpros.com
There are also other manufacturers that make similar interfaces
OBD-DIAG (also author of the fine software that you installed),OBD2allinone, scantool.net etc
Do your research and you will be able to decide yourself which one is better.
I am partial to ObdPros since I make those![]()

I noticed that this thread started as a question about waning a decent looking OBD software. For anybody with Subarus, or an ELM module.
I just released a new version of my software that now supports the ELM 323 interface module. It's 100% opensource and freeware.
http://jdash.sourceforge.net
It should work with any ELM/OBD interface.
The main idea behind this software was to make a skinnable "Dashboard" to interface with your car.
Perhaps some of you might find it usefull.
Subaru here. will try it out on a Forester/ELMScan5 interface
Since you have a subaru, you might want to try the Tactrix Open Port cable. It will perform 5 times faster than the ELM module.
