    obd2 cable

    hi guys can anyone tell me if this cable will work without scan tool in line

    i emailed seller and he said it will work with the corect program
    would anyone know what program

    Hey Daron,

    What model commodore do you have? I believe only the VZ's and newer have OBD-II. Earlier models have the same OBD-II plug but use a different protocol.

    its a 2000 vt
    i think its vpw not 100% sure so if nayone knows let me know

    Yes they use VPW or something like that, not 100% sure. But I have been told that it is not standard OBD-II, so not sure what software will work with it.
