I don't know if it's common for all, I know the 3g use ISO.Originally Posted by Pebino
Wich software is used for Mitsubishi?
I`ve searched but I can`t find anything.
Please someone help me
I have a couple of different Mitsubitshies, and I really want to scan for trouble codes
But if someone just knows about one program that works fine with Mitsubishi
There's 5 different protocols, wether all mitsus use ISO, no idea. Some readers can read all protocols (and usually are more expensive), others just one. I'd figure out what's what before you buy.Originally Posted by Pebino
My car is a rebranded/lengthened 3g eclipse. I use an Elm323 based scanner. It works well but unfortunately, ISO is slow so the sample rates leave a bit to be desired for realtime display.
Can you please just give me the name of your program?
Or is there any programs for Mitsus at all?
Hope someone can just give me a name
Think you're missing part of the point. Software is only one part of it.Originally Posted by Pebino
You need hardware to interface the car to the computer. There are a variety of "adapters".
There are various software programs, some free, some not. Some only work with specific adapters. One free software program is freediag ( http://freediag.sourceforge.net/ )
Stay away from digimoto for now (they seem to be having numerous and serious issues).
I've played with older versions of the software. It was ok. Supposedly the new digimoto lite (ie free) is much better. I wouldn't buy from them right now, maybe ever again..., (depends what happens in the future)
I'm using my own software I'm developing so I can't speak much on other ones. I'm sure if you search, you'll find some good reviews of various programs.
oh, forgot to tell. :P
I have a adapter, a VAG-Adapter, can I use this in Mitsus?
Um... Maybe? No idea. Look up what protocols it supports.Originally Posted by Pebino
If you have one of these http://www.ross-tech.com/vag-com/interfaces.html and all your mitsus use ISO, looks like you'd be good.
Looking at this
So it looks like you can just download their software and use it?All of our Current Interfaces that have built-in Activation, are fully Registered and Activated once you test them on a car. With these Interfaces, the license is built in, you do not have to Activate VAG-COM, but obviously you'll want to test VAG-COM when you get it to make sure everything works properly.
For our older Interfaces without built-in Activation, or for 3rd party Interfaces:
