What cars use 29 bit can protocol

    Hi,

I am working on developing my own CAN OBD II analyzer, I have gottent the 11 bit can working on my Trailblazer, now I would like to test the 29bit CAN.

Does anyone know what car supports 29bit CAN?

    Thanks
    Paul

My 2005 Saab 9-3 has 29bit xtended frames on the low speed single wire CAN interface. In fact most newer GMLAN enabled vehicles support xtended frames on them.
