    Altima 1995 is OBD-II ready?

    Hello,

    I have google for this but couldn't get an answer for sure. I know OBD-II start from the year 1995.

    Is there a site or databse somewhere where I can check for sure if Nissna Altima 1995 is the 'normal' OBD-II ready or not?

    I'm pretty sure OBD II started in 1996.

    i did more search and found that the SNS2.4VJG2EK engine which i have in my Altma 95 is OBDII compatable.

    Can anyone confirm this for sure before i buy the obd2 conector?

    the final answer is yes. I bought a OBD II ELM 327 (bluetooth) adaptor and its working on my altima 1995 using ISO protocol.... so here you go!
