    1994 Camry V6LE Partial OBDII?

Well i've been doing research on my camry's engine. At first when I was reading about OBD-II it said it was in cars AFTER 1994... So I didn't bother looking into it...

Then I read on wikipedia that that 1MZ-FE (the engine in my camry) was the first engine ever to be OBD-II Compliant, but at the same time, it was only partially OBD-II compliant.

My question to the experts out there, can I still use hardware available from scantools.net or whatever it is i'm supposed to use and pull stats? What kind of stats can I pull?

Any info on this would be greatly appreciated.

Again info on the engine is as follows

    Engine make: Toyota

    Engine model: 1MZ-FE V6

Car make: Toyota Camry 4dr. V6 LE

    Car year: 1994

    More info from wikipedia:

The 1MZ-FE is a 3.0 L (2994 cc) engine. Bore is 87.5 mm and stroke is 83 mm. Output is 188-210 hp @ 5200-5400 RPM with 203-213 ft·lbf of torque at 4400 RPM. It has bucket tappets , and incorporates camshaft, and head designs for good economy, without an overall performance trade-off. It happens to be the world's first partial OBD-II compliant engine, and the world's first fully compliant OBD-II engine.

that would mean it has obd-II. Also, supposedly ford thunder birds and cougars didnt get obd-II until 96. I have only found one 94 with obd-II, all the rest were ecm-IV or later.
Progress,.... that is what I keep forgetting ;)

Thanks! I guess I will try the OBD-II and see if it really does work and try to inegrate it into Road Runner. If it doesn't work out I might as well just return it.

    Thanks again.
