elm322 for GM vehicles (like mine) too! Wow, these are really cheap compared to scantool.net and myscantool.com
what are the differences between the ebay ones and the others I listed?
eBay has some great ELM323 adapters for as low as $48 shipped!
I just bought one and could not be happier. It is the same as you find other places, but much much cheaper. This is the cheapest by around $20 after shipping.

None that I can see. It is the standard elm chip. I bought one. It is very well built and works great. No issues.
Sorry to hijack this thread but I was wondering if any of you could verify what I've found out about the elm323 in comparison to the elm327's.
I've read that the elm323 is a single protocol chip that understands/speaks only ISO 9141-2. My questions are the following:
1. is the elm323 as fast as the elm327, ie, with the programs that do data logging, can you take as many points as with an elm327 powered odbdII?
2. why is it that the new modules are using the elm327 when they are only doing a single protocol?
