The first thing you have to do is turn on the spellchecker on your computer.

This may not be the right forum to be asking about ECU images...

Buying an ECU image file over the Internet is just plain stupid. You risk blowing the engine at worst or just getting poorer performance / killing fuel economy at best.

The only way to tune a modified engine (and it it ain't modded then forget an ECU image cos it won't give you anything that you can feel) is to run it on a rolling road and have the ECU mapped for peak performance for your particular engine - that covers Ignition advance curves, fuel maps, load variables, temp variables and if you have an electronic gearbox then the solenoid shifts etc.

Burning your own map without fully understanding the mods that have been done to your engine and how they all relate to each other is going to be an expensive lesson learned (yes, I learned it the hard way!)

(Except for the point on tuning a mostly stock car, not always worthless)
