Angry OBDII and Ford Transit 2000+

Hi I have several Ford Transits and I cant get any type of OBDII scanners to work on it. I have used ELM327 Based Units and it wont talk (opensource and commercial software), Multiprotocol Hand Held scanners and they dont work either. Nothing will talk to it?? I can talk to VG Models 1996-2000, but not 2000+ (VH, VJ). Can anyone help? I have Googled and Googled this topic and Cant find anything!

ford dumped obd II you need CAN, a new program for reading diagnostics. try new search.

    Its not CAN either.

I have used CAN scanners too - ELMSCAN5 using ELM327 IC is supposed to support CAN. But it wont respond to it. Also I have tried hand held scanners which support CAN and they dont work, but all the devices I used do work on BA Ford Falcon (Aussie) which does use CAN.

did you check the fuses? it's happened to me at work many times, we have 4 multi-tool scanners which talk to any interface, they even support pre 96 (with the right connector ofcourse) and when all our scanners don't respond we either try a different module like abs, or tranny, and check the fuses, if it has one it should say obd or obdII depending on the vehicle

I'll give the fuses a try

I havent checked the fuses but we're talking about 10 Ford Transits. I hope they're not all blown. The Power is all good, the OBDII tools power up and begin the cycle of checking for protocols, then at the end they say there is an error.

Nup Still didnt work. All fuses were good. There has gotta be someone out there who has had more luck with Ford Transits than I have.
Please help me, they charge so much at the Dealerships to plug their Factory Computer into the Transit. And they're no help past that!

Might be usefull if you list the step by step what you are doing, incase there is something wrong with the way you are using the hardware.

Sorry about my ignorance, but I have no Idea what the global OBD setting is? I'll give it a google but if anyone can update me on what that is it'd be appreciated.
