    Solar power directly to laptops

    Does anyone have an idea as to how to power a bank of 10 laptops directly from Solar power? I'm setting a donation for some children in Africa and to keep costs low, we've decided to power their laptops directly from solar panels through a charge controller for the laptop batteries. But, would like some assistance/recommendations in doing so. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

    So where is the project you're showing off?
    Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?

    Under normal circumstances, a signature would go here.

    Shouldn't be hard. Solar panel -> 12V charge controller -> 12V Lead-acid battery -> DC-AC 120V Converter -> standard outlet -> Laptop.
