PC Navigator 12 embedding into xml

I am trying to embed PC Navigator 12 into an xml file I am using to control a Fusion Brain. I have the path needed and the codes needed to resize and locate the window, but I don't know what the full code is. for example. Mapfactor told me to use c:\Program Files\Navigator12\PC_Navigator\PC_Navigator.exe --window_border=yes --window_position=100,100,800,600.

But I have no idea what to put before that or after it, for it to correctly be opened and displayed.

Navigator hotkey and user defined button commands

I asked for some info over at the mapfactor forum concerning hotkeys and navigator. This is what I got.

OK, here is hopefully up-to-date list ... note, that "User buttons" have the same "actions" as hot keys ...

User defined buttons

How does it work:
User defined buttons have same show/hide manners as MENU button. When MENU button is visible user defined buttons are visible as well.

Settings: similar to user key bindings. Ex.:

FindAndNavigate ... action (same as key binding)
c:\test.png ... icon file path.
50,150 ... screen position (fixed, same for landscape and portrait)
c:\windows\notepad.exe ... if action = RunUserApplication this holds the app path to run

User defined button size is the same as of +/- buttons, depends on resolution. Icon picture is shrinked when needed.

Available actions are (same as for key binding):
ZoomIn
ZoomOut
Minimize
AddFavourite
MoveLeft
MoveRight
MoveUp
MoveDown
OpenMainMenu
ToggleNightMode
FindAndNavigate
VehicleSettings

Navigator 9 Resume from Sleep

Hi
I have finally found Navigator is the GPS I like most. I have just one problem. During navigation, if ign switched off (say at a fuel stop) my Windows 7 system goes to sleep, when ign on, the navigation continues fine, but the info panels (next turn, road name, ETA, etc) are missing. I have to shut Navigator, re-open, and re-enter destination to get them back. I have set allow sleep to 'yes' in default_settings. Any suggestions?

Centrafuse Navigator Free 11 integration

Hi all,

I have now finished my install and I'm running Windows 7 with centrafuse 3.1 as later versions I'm not quite happy with.
The integrated sat nav with in CF is very poor, so I have been fiddling with Navigator Free 11.
Is there a way to in CF use Navigator whilst maintaining the controls etc?

GPS Gate will split my GPS signal for multiple programs to allow CF and Navigator 11 to both use the GPS signal at the same time.

Navigator software now has a FREE version!

There are now two versions of Navigator software:

1. The good old paid software which includes map data licensed from Teleatlas

2. The same software as above, but the included map data is from Open Street Map. This version is absolutely FREE, with no time limit!

Dear all,

Looking to buy a GPS to embed inside RR.
I like the look of Navigator 7.
Will it embed ok without being full size window etc or is there a better software?

i start to write in VB.NET a software whit PC navigator 7, using the OCX.Can someone help me sending some little code, in how i can just open a map in a form.
Im able to import the OCX, and metod are visible in my software, but map dont appear in form

In short-

PC navigator 7 - Europe standard edition now supports being windowed, however you need to pass it some parameters, DOPEHEAD has written an executable to do this

the other intergration option that is still lacking is the ability to mute winamp when the satnav speaks. a solution to this was suggested by SERFIO

On the whole I have been impressed so far. It has not yet taken me on a obscure route, or got me lost.

one small niggle is when running in a small window the icons/ fonts are not always resized, so for instance when you do a search for your GPS com port, the details of the com port are printed below the bottom of the screen. I will report this in today and see if we get a patch.
