Recently I started to use Winamp to listen to my entire music library on my home PC. This is the exact same folder that I sync back to the Carputer using EZSync.
Here's the deal: Apparently, when you 'Add Folder' to the WinAmp library (so that all audio files are made available in the WinAmp media library) all the files that are added/processed get their Modified Date changed.
The effect this has on EZSync of course, is that it thinks all the files have effectively changed, and begins syncing all of my MP3 files from sratch! (3000+ files argh!)
I couldn't find a way to tell WinAmp to *not* change the modified date. Any ideas?

Well, personally, I wouldn't use the Library function then.
I use Winamp all the time to listen to the library that sincs to the car, same directory and all like you, and have no problem, but I have it load a playlist and thats it. Never had a problem with it to date. Gotta be something specifially with the Library function, and not winamp itself.
