Thanks all for the offers of beta testing. I've now sent all of you a PM with details and I think I have enough people initially. I recommend you do some offline testing to be sure you're happy with the software before using it in anger.

If there is anyone who has posted an offer to beta test that I have not contacted please drop me a PM.

I will make the software available to more people at a later date, depending upon how initial tests go.

Has anyone tried the removable media sync yet?

Last night when syncing I noticed it said that it found removable media.. but it was not setup for it... (this was on the client).. but I didnt have any removable media plugged in... unless you count my DVD player which is USB ...

I dont think I had anything on the server either.. but I will have to double check..

It will count your DVD player as removable media. If it is annoying you there's a registry entry that allows you to turn off certain drive letters - NoUSBSync=ABCDEF (etc)
