Well I have my own sync program that I have been using for years, it's just had an upgrade to make it skinnable.
However I did like to look at ric's as it was connceting using the ip stack with I thought was interesting.
well he never really had the time to support all the users who ended up using his software.. so he stopped releasing it publicly... there were issues with 1.94.. which is why he took that one off before he stopped supporting the software
EDIT: check out foldershare.com I tried it a while back and it worked great for me to sync files between the carpc and home
