Problems Found

Hi,

Have found a bug in the client and am trying to replicate it. It occured after resuming from hibanate.

This difference seemed to be that when it hibanted previously - the client was still doing stuff. It may not like resuming into the midle of a procedure.

A second problem was that it did not exit correctly after the error window was displayed, instead shrinking to the task bar. It was not possible to then get it to show again - TaskManager was the only solution.

Also if it is possible a check should be made at the start up of the client to make sure it isnt already running - otherwise you get two cliants running and currupted MP3s.

Can you CONFIRM that you get corrupted MP3s under this situation? That's enough to keep me away from EZsyn, so please be specific!

I can only Confirm that on the client computer, if two versions of the Client program are running then i get currupted MP3s

It didnt cause the originals on the server to have a problem (but I only use Mirror Server). Also this problem is very specific. It will only happen if the client is running twice. The simplest way to make sure this dosnt happen is to not run the program again without checking that its not already running

Would you see 2 icons on the taskbar if you ru it twice?

If you run the program twice you should get two icons in the taskbar - BUT - my problem accured when Explorer had crashed and restarted and was not displaying any icons.
