you can use epoxy for almost anything... i like it because it has the sam properties as plastic and will there for expand and contract in hot and cold temperatures the same as plastic does... but be warned epoxy isnt exactly the easiest thing to work with when it comes to sanding... but hey... i made a faceplate for my car using epoxy and it turned out greathere is the link:
