make a mdf brezel, sand it to the shape you want then cover it with vinal to match your dash would be my best thought

Here's my advice, I would try to find or order a door for the glovebox and then make a costum MDF mounting recovered with some leather behind the door. That way you could close the glovebox and HIDE everything...OEM lookswhen closed.
Theres a bounce of thread where you can learn how to make some nice MDF boxes, try google ...there's always something good!!!

just bought a glovebox door.....so.me and my buddy are going to work with that. ill prolly post pics and updates on how it goes. thanks for the help
most cars have the cabin air filter behind the glove box. check your forum or w/e you use to make sure its not behind the glove box because if you need to replace one [every 30k (for mazda6) dependin on the car] youll have to take the whole SOB out which i could guarentee wont be a fun job.
