Thats is a valid question, up to date (2 years) I have had no problems, I guess this would be due to the expoy becoming one with the plastic and hardening like a rock, but still sandable. I live in Florida as well, so I know what you mean about extreme heat with an unattended car for a while, But like I mentioned above, not cracks or shrinkage.

This seems perfect, I'm fixing to fab up my bezel to accept a 7" screen and planning on usings ABS sheet for big filler and then the putty to fill it all in. I'll post some before/after pics when I get it done or through the progress. This stuff seems less time consuming.

When you say "Then the putty should be sanded with at least 220, then raged, and then so on, heres the final pictures just to give you an idea of how easy it makes it fills." .. what do you mean by "raged"?

This sounds a lot like the "JB Weld" I have used on car repair projects
before. It is drillable and when mixed right is pretty tough stuff.....stroke
of genius using it on a bezel wish I had thought of it

he means using a product called rage gold, which is a filler that helps to get the final product really smooth (way better than bondo)

Has anyone else gotten a bum tube of this stuff? The one I got was lumpy, and had a bunch of "shards" in it. Made it really tough to work with. I'm thinking of getting another tube at a different store and trying again.

That's usually how they are, I got one that was for "plastic repair" and it had plastic shards in it. I assume the ones for steel have steel or something in them.

Good to know... I appreciate that. I was using QuikSteel Plastic Repair. I'll stay away from that one from now on.
