Good job on it buddy! Now that you have a computer in your Land Rover, all you need is some 22's and HIDs for that beast!
Whats going Boss...as soon as I get that raise
I have a 2003 Discovery and REALLY am interest in this project...
ANY UPDATES?
Jerz
sorry guys been real busy...its more or less 80% complete...of course it will never be 100%..but here are some pics..will post some more later...using streetdeck ..its pretty good once you get it tweaked right..and works good with powermate
sorry guys didn't mean to have pictures that big.......hope this will help the land rover owners..and other guys just like the forumn helped me out
awsome truck. that things onna be so sweet with screens... hmmmm time to start looking into those 22's perhaps lol
Really cool project. I am working on my Disco too now. Well planing on how I will instal everything. And I have few questions for you.
How hard is to remove that front panel or (can you post few pix of screws that hold it)
And why dont use car original AMP? I was thinking of moving car stereo somwere and use it as AMP control + volume and such from WINAMP. Corently i spliced my Iriver mp3 player in it, so when CD changer play CD's AMP gets signal from mp3 player.
actually I used the original car amp...just extended the speaker wires to the back. a better idea might be to get a USB sound card and located behind the dash to cut down on noise..the shhh noise... the amp in the picture is for my sub only...the 8" landrover subs are useless and probably cracked..if you check closely....with a comp, the stock radio is really useless other than the steering audio controls...but then thats what the powermate is for...
Its just a few screws...will show you steps..later with pics..I need to open it up anyway..need to wire a reset button..turning car off n on to reset comp is probably not a good idea.....adios...
