    Liquid Stainless Steel

Has anybody tried this stuff for fabricating a brushed steel benzel? I';m dubious of its utility in the kitchen and on large items, but for a small dash piece it might work.

Are you talking about fabbing something up with that stuff or just finishing a piece with that?
I don't think you could get that thick enough to have any integrity.

To me it just looks like plain silver paint...so for painting it should work, don't know if it'll look good though.

Man...that stuff looks killer. If I can find some I'll get it (as long as it's not cost prohibitive for me) and I'll re-do my dash pieces with that.

That stuff looks pretty fricking awesome. From what I read, it's actual stainless steel embedded in a car paint. They kept likening it to car paint in the FAQ, so I'm guessing it'll work for car purposes. DeLoreanify your car! Seriously, I'm thinking about doing a two-tone on my Suburban with this stuff. That would look sooooooooooooo tight!

ya super fine metallic in a paint structure...instead of color they use st/st chips or something...

it'll look like spray aluminum with a different hue...but still not really look like a polished metal or close....like you'd think

Started to order this to check it out, but they want $4 to ship it. I was going to just order a sample and give a report on the looks/quality, but I won't probably use this stuff for anything, so I'm not gonna pay $4 for a sample.

    Maybe it's the photos...
But some of the objects the painted look positively horrible. The plastic hamper & the table lamp come to mind. Maybe it's the material they're painting or something.

One thing that I'm curious about that I didn't see in their FAQ. If this is paint with stainless actually embedded in it, would the coating bee electrically conductive?
Have you looked in the FAQ yet?
    How about the Wiki?
