I don't get it, you just cut the hole for the pioneer deck and glued or velcro'ed the screen in place?

I guess if it works for you, then run with it... Maybe paint the screen bezel black or something?

Once pics of it in the car are up maybe I'll get a better idea of the install.

well if your wondering: i cut most of the back to seat the lcd
the lcd frame itself has 4 screw points, following me?
i left the part of the abs there i made a hole in it and used long floppy screws to screw the abs to the lcd frame on all 4 screw holes.
This should give u a good idea how i mounted the LCD.
the HU frame is very secure to the ABS plastic, tight, plus after jamming the radio in there, it hardly even moves. and the HU frame covers the mini gaps around the frame

the part I didn't get is why to not use some product to smooth and fill it in to make it look factory to prevent thieves thinking there's something special in it (the 10" screen itself doesn't help though...) Something like ABS cement or sludge, or Fiberglass or even bondo? If it's a cost issue, the abs cement is under $20 for a fairly large can...

But again, it's not my car, so do what you want to. I think as long as it's all secure and doesn't move while you're driving you should be fine.
