    Screen mounting ideas

Hi this is my first post, great site btw.
In a couple of week I an planning to install a computer, At the moment I am driving a Rover 200
I would like some other peoples thoughts on where would be best to mount the monitor, it is just going to be a 7" touch screen Lilliput.
Here is a picture of the center console>
This is a single din just above that is the controls for heating etc.

What occupies that big space above the single DIN slot?

That is where the knobs for the heating are, if possible I would rather not move them.

You have the space but you are going to need to do some work. I would try to move the air conditioning controls down to the bottom somewhere and open that space up. If you wanted you could make it work to keep the radio below the screen, but personally i like the whole all in one unit. Like i said you have the space you just have to ask yourself if you have the time and patience to start moving stuff around. Another tip is to try and buy another trim piece to mess with so if it goes bad you still have your stock one.
