    Small project

I'm working on this little project for my EQ dash controller. I pretty much cut a semi rectangular hole on the plastic panel and glued on the device on it. The plastic epoxy kind of filled the gaps however there's some parts with holes showing up after I primered it.

I tried applying a layer of bondo but after sanding it down, there's not much bondo left. I can see little bit of pink where the bondo has filled up small holes, but very little. Do you guys think I should try to carve out the glue where I see holes so that I can apply bondo and on it?

Try some filler/glazing putty, its made for small imperfections like what your talking about. Expect to do more than one coat though for good results.

I dont know if it's just me but I think its alot harder to try and flush mount it, than to have it stick up a little and then bondo'ing around it. Thinking of maybe unglue'ing it and raise it up a little something maybe like this..
